Mastermind N°20

Mastermind N°20

description

For Mastermind’s 20th issue, the magazine marks a decade in print with three covers. One stars Hoyeon Jung and Alicia Vikander, who give us plenty of reasons to stay hopeful; then, Rianne Van Rompaey recounts stepping away from modeling at the height of her career to begin from scratch in another industry; and Louis Garrel, France’s favorite insouciant leading man, graces the third, discussing the thin veil between life and cinema. Meanwhile, leading artists Pierre Huyghe and Jordan Wolfson reckon with the role of technology in their practice, and we turn the party by recreating the wild nights of Paris from the late ’60s, a time of excess, abandon and liberation in which social distinctions disappeared in the dark. Plus fashion editorials by Inez and Vinoodh, Mark Kean, Julien Martinez Leclerc and Sharna Osborne — a lineup worth celebrating.
