Let Them Eat n°1
Let Them Eat
The first issue brings together 15 young artists, painters, designers, musicians, writers, photographers from Mexico, Morocco, Italy, France… Each artist is featured on a double-page spread showcasing a selection of their work with an interview conducted by Emma Cambier, whose debut book will be published by Gallimard in early 2026.
The issue also includes five original Cadavres Exquis collectively imagined by the artists in groups of three, all centered on the theme of “eating”. Popularized by the Surrealists in the 1920s, this process is a true tool for artistic creation and unconscious exploration, allowing a “collective work” to emerge in which no single contribution dominates. This playful method reveals the interconnections and contradictions within the participants’ imaginations.
Printed in Alsace, France on a Japanese Komori press, using Italian Fedrigoni Arena White Rough 90g uncoated paper (A3 closed / A2 open) format. Limited edition of 600 numbered and signed copies.
