We Apologize Future initiates a sincere process of acknowledging the selfishness of the present and the uncertainty of the future. W.A.F is a global, plastic and artistic project, focusing on the impact of our creative professions on a constantly changing field and on the years to come. This first issue points the way to a clear-sighted tension faced with the reality of an aesthetic practice and its effects on the environment. We are observers, trying to imbue what exists with vivid and urgent impressions, with perspectives that are still protected for future generations. What’s left for us? Emotional integrity to bring out a stream of consciousness. Issue a personal, reflective and expressive study under constraint. Each end is a renewal, the end of one era marks the beginning of the next. We follow this tortuous path of sensitivity and imperfection with an eager heart. Surrounded by different profiles, we are developing plural dialogues, in images and objects, to map the oblique and transverse landscape of our archives of the future. Both an angled challenge and an aesthetic grammar, the figure of the quadruped is not expressed in full visibility. A mesh of chains, joints and rhythms materializes, like an indocile, high-performance arrow.
